Rent is the new buy

Grover.png

Pay-as-you-go subscription: The newest tech  at costs up to 95% cheaper than buying.

Grover aims to be a kind of Netflix for consumer gadgets. It gives people the option of renting a product by the month, quarter, or year. It also offers a subscription that lets you pay a fixed monthly fee and swap the item you’re renting at your convenience.

If you are renting the product and decide you want to buy it, you can purchase it with 30 percent of your rental payments taken off the ticket price. If you’ve been renting for a long time, Grover will warn you when you are close to 130 percent of the recommended retail price. At that point, you’re offered to purchase the product for €1 (just over $1).
